She writes for the monthly PSRO Retailing News enewsletter and PSRO Business Briefs, and is currently working on PSRO "Marketing Moments" podcasts. She will be a guest speaker at PSRO 2009, in conjunction with PMA 09. She is the secretary for the Seattle chapter of the PMA Co-op Marketing group and has consulted with several companies on both the digital and traditional side of the industry. Candice Yoshida

Business Motivation Maven

Candice has been scrapbooking for several years. She is a stay-at-home-mom who wanted to start her own business, but didn't want the burdens and hassles of the multi-level marketing or direct sales companies. Coming from a family owned retail environment, she has both a recruiting and retail management background. However, rather than recruit, Candice wanted to sell products, so she found ScrapBiz and has called it home for the last few years. Suffering from a debilitating chronic illness, ScrapBiz has afforded her the opportunity to work from home, take time for her health concerns and still make money. She wants others with chronic illnesses to know that it's possible to have a business and live a dream. Candice leads motivational chats that help members set goals and visualize reaching them. She has inspired more than a few members to turn their dreams into a reality!
